This is after the recent launch of all-in-one QR for merchants across the country which has already enabled over two million merchants in the East to accept payments through the Paytm wallet, Rupay Cards and all UPI based payment apps directly into their bank account at 0% fee.
In a press release issued on Thursday, Paytm said the platform offers a single reconciliation of all payments through its ‘Paytm for Business‘ app. The company further plans to invest in merchant solutions for a deeper engagement beyond payments.
Paytm has also launched its all-in-one Paytm QR into various utility items such as calculator, power bank, clock, pen stands and radio which merchants can use in their shop for daily requirement.
Saurabh Sharma, senior vice president at Paytm, said eastern India is at the forefront of digital payments and has witnessed a 150% growth in 12 months. “We will continue to add new banking and financial products to our Paytm for Business app to address the requirements of our merchant partners across the country,” he said.
