Shelter-in-place orders can be particularly tough on children, but communities the world over have responded creatively with fun activities that still maintain social distancing. One of the most popular is the Teddy Bear Hunt, where residents display stuffed toys, books and novelties in windows and on porches, balconies and unusual hiding places, for kids to spot while they are walking or driving in their neighborhoods.
In the spirit of the game and the feelings of community it evokes, Hanna Andersson and promotional products supplier Polyconcept North America (PCNA) have partnered to distribute 10,000 six-inch teddy bears as a gift-with-purchase, for as long as supplies last. The exclusive plush bears are clad in custom T-shirts produced by the Hanna Andersson design team.
Hanna Andersson also is donating its signature Hannajams pajama sets to healthcare workers and patients at hospitals, as well as to the Baby2Baby COVID-19 emergency response program. To date, more than 2,000 sets have been given away.

Hanna Andersson is also providing comfort and relief through digital programming, including uplifting messages from customers and employees, crowdsourced suggestions for best bedtime books and family-friendly movies and photos of kids at home together in their Hannajams. The company also debuted the Hanna Blog last week, which was created as a source of support and inspiration for their community. The four new entries detail personal accounts from Hanna parents who are navigating their new normal, tips and tricks for how to best wash baby clothing, and more.
Through its PCNA Cares program, PCNA has donated critical
care supplies such as sanitizers and safety masks to first responders. “We see
this partnership with Hanna Andersson and donation of these adorable bears as
an extension of these efforts to bring some joy to children in these trying
