Held annually in an iconic, Central London location, the Visual Merchandising and Display Awards bring together the UK’s most influential creatives, retailers and suppliers in celebration of their considerable achievements for projects installed from 1st August to 31st of July each year.
The Awards are completely free to enter with a simple application process; there are over 20 categories and thousands of nominations each year.
Previous VM Award winners include the now visionary creatives at some of the world’s best-known brands, including Tim Whitmore, Visual Director at Arcadia; Mark Briggs, Chief Marketing Officer at Saks Fifth Avenue; Mark Stevens, Director of Creative at Debenhams; Janet Wardley, Head of Visual Display at Harvey Nichols and Erin Thompson, Creative Director, The Met Store at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, as well as recognising the achievements of retailers such as Harrods, Ralph Lauren, Nike, Brown’s, Harvey Nichols, Bentalls, Marks & Spencer, Selfridges, Hackett, Joseph, Liberty, Hamleys, White Stuff, Gap, Vivienne Westwood and Brown Thomas, amongst many other; the list is endless.

They recognise and reward the full VM retail sphere – from the smallest independent to the largest multiple – together with acknowledging suppliers involved, with the winners of each prestigious Award selected by an independent panel of industry experts.
The only event dedicated to celebrating excellence and innovation in the
retail visual merchandising and display sector, the VM & Display Awards have been successfully running for 25 years, and as a standalone event in its current format for 15 years.
